Laura Orlich, M.S., M.C., NCC, LPC , (Chapter Representaive) provides adolescent and adult therapy, consults, and referral resources in private practice. Recently,Laura served as the Coordinator for Eating Disorder services and provided therapy to students with food and body image issues at the University of Arizona. Co-facilitating the Body Smart Initiative on campus, she offers mentorship for interns working to improve body image and self-compassion for all students. During Eating Disorder Awareness week, she co-coordinates, a campus event, increasing awareness for body image and eating disorder concerns and available solutions.

Licensed by the state of Arizona, she is also a national certified counselor.  Having earned a Bachelor's Degree at the University of Illinois, Laura completed a Master's Degree in Psychology and Research at the University of Kansas and holds a Master of Counseling degree. Laura and her team were the recipients of the Pacific Coast College Health Association Award of Excellence for leadership of the U of A Eating Assessment and Treatment Team.  Laura and her team were nominated for the University Team Award for Excellence recognizing service to student needs. In her education career, Laura was appointed as a master teacher where she taught and evaluated and trained students and  staff.  She is the recent Past President and Education Co-Chair of the Tucson Chapter.
