A foundation of good practice is expert knowledge. Candidates for the CEDS designation and Educational Associates must satisfactorily complete all four Core Courses. The Core Courses provide the candidate with advanced, practical, graduate-level knowledge considered essential to eating disorder expertise. In addition, the courses prepare the candidate to successfully pass the iaedp Certification Examination and iaedp Associate Final Exam. Core Course Costs

For individuals:

When taken outside of symposium, each course costs $100 for iaedp™ members and $125 for non-members.


For organizations:

iaedp supports multiple professionals becoming certified within the same facility, resulting in increased facility core competency demonstration to both the general public and 3rd party payers.


  • Individuals from Presidents Council organizations and facilities who are Organizational Members may enroll as members and receive the $25 membership discount per course.
  • A company may purchase and pre-pay for a block of staff. 
  • Any portion of this block may be used at any time for up to 3 years.
  • Once a professional enrolls in a couse, the course should be completed within 90 days.

ASWB - As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Amedco is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program.

Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Amedco maintains responsibility for this course. Social workers completing this course receive 4.5 GENERAL continuing education credits.
