Vicki Berkus, MD, PhD, CEDS, is currently in private practice in Tucson , Arizona .  She has been a featured speaker at several outreach programs and addiction medicine conferences.  After 7 years heading an in-patient ED program, she now divides her time between her office, promoting her new book "10 Commitments to Mental Fitness" and working as a "sleep disorders consultant."  She received her M.D., from the University of Oklahoma , her Ph.D in Biochemistry from Oklahoma State University .
